Warrington-based housing association Your Housing Group (YHG), who operate over 30,000 homes across the north, with 3,600 of those in Warrington itself, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Housing Provider of the Year award at the ASB Awards 2026, hosted by Resolve.

The nomination follows YHG’s recent achievement of the Resolve Standard, a nationally recognised accreditation awarded to organisations delivering high-quality, effective, and compassionate anti-social behaviour (ASB) services. The accreditation, valid for three years, acknowledges YHG’s robust governance, specialist teams, and risk-based approach to ASB, alongside its strong corporate commitment to safeguarding and domestic abuse.
In its final report, Resolve commended YHG’s ASB service as “grounded in clear governance, specialist teams and a risk-based approach,” and praised the organisation’s dedication to making communities safer and ensuring appropriate resources are in place to support victims. YHG successfully met 40 out of 42 commitments at the highest level of confidence, with none marked as ‘not in place’.
Last year, YHG handled over 3,000 incidents of ASB, demonstrating the scale of the problem. However, thanks to their proactive approach, YHG customer satisfaction has actually increased by 33% over the last 3 years. This success is based on close partnership working with other agencies such as local authorities, social services and mental health services.
Sarah Butler, Service Manager for Housing North and ASB Service Lead, said: “To be awarded this recognition for the next three years highlights how hard our dedicated team of specialists work in order to provide an efficient and quality ASB service. Over the last few years, we have made significant changes and improvements to the service and remain committed to providing safe environments for all our residents, and ensuring more people have a safe place to call home.”

Chris Irons, Head of Communications and Business Development at Resolve, said: “Your Housing Group’s achievement of the Resolve Standard and shortlisted nomination for Housing Provider of the Year reflects a deep-rooted dedication to supporting victims, building safer neighbourhoods and driving sector excellence. With nearly 200 submissions received across our ASB Awards categories this year, the calibre of nominations speaks to the strength and evolution of the sector.”
YHG’s award nomination showcases the work of its ASB Team, which comprises 13 ASB Legal Officers operating across the Northwest. The team resolves 97% of ASB cases through early support and informal interventions, including mediation and emotional support.
The nomination also highlights YHG’s transformational work in Partington, Trafford, where the organisation leads regeneration efforts and designs out ASB in new developments. Integrated service delivery through the YHG Partington Hub combines ASB, tenancy support, money advice, and community engagement to provide holistic support to residents.
A standout example of YHG’s partnership working is the Eagle Mills Closure Order, delivered in collaboration with Staffordshire Police. This case involved securing legal orders to protect a vulnerable resident and restore safety to a community affected by persistent ASB and drug activity. The approach combined civil and criminal powers, early resident engagement, and compassionate decision-making, setting a benchmark for multi-agency collaboration.
The winners will be announced at the ASB Awards Ceremony on Thursday 26 February 2026 at the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham, following the National ASB Conference.
