Only 200 tickets and five sponsorship slots are left for TEDxWarrington in December, as organisers announce the first wave of up to 18 speakers at this year’s event.

Warrington’s Amanda Wah, winner of TV show Gladiators in 2025 and a prominent LGBTQ+ advocate, is set to take to the stage this year, and she will be speaking about the accessibility of fitness and her mission to build a national PE programme for schools prioritising confidence, health and belonging before performance and winning.
Amazon no. 1 bestseller and MIND ambassador Charlotte Faulconbridge from Warwickshire, who is autistic and was non-verbal until her teens, will also take to the stage at this year’s event, delivering her identity story both verbally and in British Sign Language.
And Warrington-born public speaker, lecturer and charity ambassador, Jonathan Cliffe, will also be sharing his story – from high school dropout at age 15 to breaking through glass ceilings to succeed as one of less than 200 male midwives in the UK.
“We’ve been absolutely blown away by the calibre of speakers this year and the emerging young talent we’ve seen,” said TEDxWarrington organiser and Warrington businesswoman Kirsty James.
“It’s been a near impossible job to shortlist this year, but the line up at TEDxWarrington will have some ‘must see’ speakers and it will certainly be one to be remembered in 2025.
“We’re delighted to have Amanda, Charlotte and Jonathan join this year’s speaker line up, and we’re expecting to announce up to 18 speakers this year, which will be the most we’ve ever had. There are so many amazing talks and stories that the Warrington community has to hear, so we’ll announce more on the speaker shortlist soon.”

TEDxWarrington 2025 will run on the evening of Tuesday 2nd December 2025 and will be hosted at Warrington Youth Zone in the centre of Warrington, supporting the event’s community impact focus of young people this year.
“Many of the speakers we’re yet to announce will also be aged under 25 this year”, said Kirsty, “so we’re really proud to make TEDxWarrington one of the biggest TEDx events in the region for young people to have their stories and voices heard.
“As well as unlocking opportunities for young people and providing subsidised tickets for them through a new bursary programme launched this year, the event in 2025 will be bigger and better than ever.
“We’ve only got around 200 tickets left now, as well as a handful of sponsorship slots for brands and businesses that care about identity and purpose, about young people, and about promoting our town. We really want to make a statement with TEDxWarrington this year, so we’re keen to have the Warrington community behind us for what is a ‘must see’ event in 2025.”
Tickets are priced from £20 to £50 and are available now by visiting https://tedxwarrington.com/tickets/.
Any businesses interested in sponsorship – which is available now in two packages, Big Ted (£875) and Super Ted (£1,395) – can visit the website https://tedxwarrington.com/sponsorship-opportunities/. To enquire about partnerships or sponsorships, email [email protected].

TED is one of the world’s most famous speaker conference formats and this is the third year of TEDx Warrington, which is a non-profit event supported by an organising team of volunteers.
