A PUBLIC talk entitled “Say Goodbye to Stress” will be a given by a Buddhist monk at Warrington on Saturday, November 15 – against a background of increasing public division and hate crime.

This is the claim of the Northwich-based charity Odiyana Kadampa Meditation Centre.
The talk will be at Winmarleigh House, Warrington from, 10am to 11.30am and will be by Gen Kelsang Chokyong – a Buddhist monk who lives at the centre in Northwich and has been teaching there since 2001.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Stress is such a huge problem in this modern world, so learning to deal with it in a helpful way is essential if we want to be happy in life.
“The talk is aimed at giving the people of Warrington and the surrounding area an insight into how they can start to view people and situations differently in order to keep themselves happy, peaceful and reduce their day to day stress levels.

“ We are aware there has been a lot of division in Warrington and hate crime has increased over the last few years.
“We feel this talk is much needed and will help the area so much.”
There will be a £10 per person entry fee to attend the meeting.
