THE Daresbury Festival will return to Warrington’s Walton Hall and Gardens next June, promising an even more exciting event than this year’s sell-out event which drew in more than 7,000 music fans.
Details of the line up for the June 20 festival will be announced in the coming weeks.
Described as “a celebration of house, disco and happiness”, the event follows a record-breaking year headlined by electronic music duo Groove Armada.
Daresbury Festival has already been shortlisted for “Best Festival” at the Cheshire Tourism Awards, marking a proud moment for one of the region’s most distinctive summer celebrations.
Kris Jones, event director at Walton Live, said: “Daresbury Festival has grown into something truly special — a celebration of music, people, and the beautiful setting of Walton Hall. and 2026 is going to be even bigger and better, without losing that boutique charm that makes Daresbury so unique.”
Cllr Tony Higgins, cabinet member for climate change, sustainability and the environment at Warrington Borough Council, said: “Walton Hall and Gardens is proud to once again host Daresbury Festival, an event that continues to elevate Cheshire’s cultural calendar.
The nomination for Best Festival at the Visit Cheshire Tourism Awards is a testament to the dedication of the organisers and the enthusiasm of attendees, and we look forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to experience the vibrant atmosphere in 2026.”
