THERE were lengthy delays on the M62 Westbound at junction 11 Birchwood this morning (Thursday) following a multi-vehicle collision.
Emergency services and traffic officers attended at the scene, with delays of an hour being reported.
Three lanes (of 4) remain closed on the M62 westbound between J12 (M60) and J11 (Risley) due to the collision.
All emergency services are attending the scene. There are spillages on the road surface which we are clearing.
UPDATED 10 am – Spillage is being cleared with two lanes remaining closed – delays are reported as 30 minutes.
All lanes are now re-opened.
