AFTER using Warrington as the backdrop for his latest gangster movie, film director Pete Hirst is back in town filming a new sitcom.
The sitcom is a TV show called “The B-Team” featuring Louie Angelo, with filming taking place at his family-run business for the last 11 years, Chesters on on Chester Road, Warrington.
Director Pete, who has shot a few scenes in Warrington, loves how friendly and open Warrington is as a community and described Chesters as a “great location.”
The sitcom is about four middle-aged men trying to solve modern-day crimes (badly).
It stars Mark Silcox, Sinitta, George Newton, Pete Bennett and a cameo from Bonnie Blue.
One of the scenes involves a corrupt politician at an adult establishment, and the team attend to investigate.

With scenes of Warrington also providing much of the backdrop, gangster movie “Fall to the top” featuring several local actors, recently had its world premiere at the spirit of independence festival in Sheffield.
