Officers in Warrington have charged a man with several offences, including weapons and burglary offences, following an incident in the town.
Michael Muse was arrested at around 1.52am on Saturday 11 October.
Muse, of Orchard Brow, of Rixton-with-Glazebrook, has since been charged with section 18 wounding with intent and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was also charged with aggravated burglary with intent and possession of a class B drug (cannabis).
The 53-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred on Orchard Brown on Saturday 11 October.
