VARIOUS road closures will be in place later this week for the annual Lymm Festival FoodFest and Historic Transport Day.
Closures will be in place between 4;30 pm and 9:30 pm this Thursday, June 19th in and around Lymm village centre, followed by further road closures between 10 am and 11.30 am on Sunday, June 22nd for Lymm Historic Transport Day.
Warrington Borough Council has made an order on the occasion of the above-mentioned events, no cart, carriage, motor car, lorry or other vehicle (excepting vehicles taking part in the events, Police, Ambulance and Fire Service vehicles and Mail Carts) and no horses or other animal be allowed to remain in or travel along or over any of the undermentioned streets:

N.B. An alternative route will be available for through traffic via Rectory Lane, Church Road, Brookfield Road and vice versa.
LYMM HISTORIC TRANSPORT DAY
Between the hours of 10:00am and 11:30 am on Sunday 22nd June 2025:
Eagle Brow Brookfield Road to The Cross
The Cross Eagle Brow to Lymm Bridge
Lymm Bridge The Cross to New Road
New Road Lymm Bridge to Dane Bank Road East
Pepper Street The Cross to Grove Rise
Rectory Lane Pepper Street to Higher Lane
Bridgewater Street Eagle Brow to Whitbarrow Road
Whitbarrow Road Bridgewater Street to Brookfield Road
N.B. An alternative route will be available for through traffic via Brookfield Road, Dane Bank Road, Dane Bank Road East and vice versa.
Bicycles and Tricycles are included in the term “vehicle” and must not be ridden through any of the above streets during the hours specified. Any person willfully acting in contravention of the above order will be liable to a penalty not exceeding £400.
Vehicular access to premises will only be permitted under the guidance of the organisers.
Pedestrian and emergency routes will be maintained.
