IN celebration of their 40th anniversary, St Rocco’s Hospice is excited to be Official Charity Partner for the 2025 Warrington Running Festival and is offering free places in return for a minimum sponsorship.
With the addition of places available to run in this year’s junior race, children from age 4+ have the opportunity to take part as a ‘Mini Rocco’ and run a 1.5K with an adult running alongside them for support.
All runners who sign up to take part in this year’s Warrington Running Festival will receive:
• A free #TeamRoccos running vest
• Specialist support from our events team to help with your training and fundraising
• A fundraising pack with ideas, hints and tips
• Advice on setting up an individual Enthuse page with our fundraising team on hand to offer additional support
• The feeling of pride that you are supporting a worthwhile cause!
St Rocco’s 2025 vests will be sponsored by Clarity Procurement.
Nathan Liptrot, Director Clarity Procurement, said: “As a local business with core values of making a difference and investing in the community, when the opportunity arose to partner with St. Rocco’s and sponsor their vests for the Warrington Running Festival, this felt like the perfect match. We are honoured to be given this opportunity, and super proud to be supporting St. Rocco’s in their 40th year.”
St. Rocco’s is a local charity that provides specialist end-of-life care and support across Warrington, helping adults who are coping with a life-limiting illness.
They offer a range of services for their patients and their families throughout their journey at the hospice. These include an Inpatient Unit, Palliative Virtual Ward, and Outreach services. Their teams ensure care is tailored to the individual’s needs. Above all, they want to make every day count for their patients and their loved ones.
Their services are free of charge, and they care for their community across Warrington. As a charity, they rely on donations and fundraising to help deliver their care. It costs over £5 million a year to run the hospice, which means they need to raise nearly £15,000 a day! Without local support, the hospice wouldn’t be here.

In return for a place, they ask runners to pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £30 for the junior race, £100 for the 5k, £150 for the 10k and £200 for the half marathon.
