WARRINGTON picked up a six wicket victory over Mobberley at Walton Lea in the Cheshire County League division three.
The visitors chose to bat first but soon had cause to regret the decision when they were bowled out for 88 in 32 overs.
James Rudd took 4-7, Jonathan Howell 3-22 and Asmir Ali 3-22 for Warrington.
The home side lost three early wickets before Harley Barratt hit an unbeaten 41 at almost a run-a-ball to give Warrington a comfortable victory.
Warrington remain second in the table, six points behind the leaders.
Grappenhall’s dismal run in division one continued with a six wicket defeat at the hands of Cheadle at Broad Lane.
Asked to bat first, Grappers started well, with 53 on the board before a wicket fell.
Even at 103-3, it looked as though the batting line-up was finding form at last. But the lower-order collapsed and the side were all out for 136 in the 46th over.
Iain Wright top scored with 35 and Daniel Adkins hit 33.
Cheadle hit off the runs in 24.5 overs for the loss of four wickets, all of which went to A Ashishat a cost of 48 runs.
The result leaves Grappenhall still looking for their first win of the season – and still at the bottom of the league table.
In the Cheshire League, division one, Lymm Oughtrington Park won by 16 runs at home to Woodford.
Batting first, Lymm were all out for 112, Antonell Atwell hitting 26 and R Roberts 25.
Woodford were bowled out for 96, with Atwell taking 3-17.
Appleton won by 90 runs at Bowdon Vale
Asked to bat first, they hit 161-8, Amir Aslam top-scoring with 42 before being given out for obstructing the field.
Ian Richards hit 39 and Scott Sparks 37.
Bowdon Vale were all out for 71, Dave Sujith 4-30 and Mansoor Safi 3-12.
Glazebury lost by nine wickets hosting Burton.
Openers Anthony Meulman, 36, and Andrew Calvert, 12, put on 38 for the first wicket as Glazebury batted first. But no other batsman reached double figures and the side were all out for 80.
The Wirral side hit off the runs for the loss of one wicket.
