FIREFIGHTERS helped release one casualty after a van left the road and collided with a tree during the early hours of this morning on Chester Road, Warrington.
At 03:20 crews from Warrington and Runcorn attended at the scene following multiple reports of a van having left the carriageway and colliding with a tree on Chester Road.
Using specialist cutting and rescue equipment, they released one casualty from the driver’s side the vehicle. They were passed to the care of ambulance crews.
Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour and a half.
