Further road closure to allow United Utilities to repair defective reinstatement

A further road closure will be required at Lymm to allow United Utilities to carry out work to a defective reinstatement.

There will be a prohibition of driving on Star Lane, Statham, Lymm from its junction with Albany Road to its junction with Whitesands Road for up to one week from June 2nd.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Star Lane from its junction with Albany Road to its junction with Whitesands Road.
The Order will be effective from 2nd June 2025. The closure is for a period of 1 week, however, will be in place as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Booths Hill Road, Camsley Road, Warrington Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out works to a defective reinstatement.
