A FIRE engine from Penketh, Warrington was sent to open land at Fiddler’s Ferry to deal with a grass fire.
The blaze was on a cycle track from Fiddler’s Ferry to Forest Way, Warrington.
Firefighters used beaters to extinguish the flames. There was no damage to property.
