VANDALS are believed to have started two fires at Lymm last night.
Both fires were in Spud Wood, off Oughtrington Lane and firefighters used extinguishers to tackle the two separate fires which were close to the Bridgewater Canal towpath.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101.
Firefighters were also called to a woodland area at Warrington last night to deal with an unexplained fire.
The blaze was off Grasmere Avenue, in the Fearnhead area.
Water backpacks and beaters were used to extinguish the fire.
