AN appeal for information has been launched after play equipment at Old Hall Park, Warrington, was destroyed by “mindless vandals.”
The vandals started a fire under play equipment on the play area which was renovated in 2019.
Calling for information to help catch those responsible local Cllr Paul Warbuton, said: “The play boat in Old Hall Park has been vandalised and destroyed. The boat was much used by the local community since the whole park was renovated (at great expense) in 2019 by Warrington Borough Council.
“Warrington West Police and Council have been informed and updates will be posted when more is known.
“Should anyone have any further information on the mindless act of vandalism then please share this information with Warrington West Police.”
