FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night following reports of smoke coming from a large building in Warrington.
At 20:19, a crew from Lymm attended the premises on Windmill Lane near Stretton and found a controlled burn inside a container. They extinguished it with a hose reel to prevent any further concern.
In an earlier incident at 18:46 one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire in the open on Knutsford Road.
A small fire that had been deliberately lit in woodland was extinguished with a hose reel.
