BRIDGEWATER Players Amateur Dramatic Society will perform L. Don Swartz’s suspenseful thriller A Night of Dark Intent starting tomorrow, Thursday, April 24th.
The thrilling mystery play tells the story of six women who spend a weekend in an abandoned house with a dark history. The play is directed by Oliver Kinchin and will be performed from April 24th to 26th.
This is the story of six women who gather together to spend the weekend in a remote abandoned house with a chilling backstory.
The house is no ordinary home: 23 years prior, it was the location of the gruesome Stark murders, in which Lenora Stark brutally killed her parents.
Now, as the six women try to unravel the secrets of what really happened 23 years ago, they learn a horrifying truth: dangerous Lenora Stark has escaped from her asylum and just might be coming home!
The play features a diverse all-female cast of 8 characters, including a psychic, a theatre technician, an actress, and a convicted serial killer. It’s a thrilling whodunit that’s perfect for mystery lovers.
Bridgewater Players Amateur Dramatic Society based in Thelwall, have been entertaining audiences since 1951, with a rich history that spans over 70 years. Next year they will be performing our 200th production.
The society performs three full-length plays a year at Thelwall Parish Hall, showcasing a range of productions from dramas to comedies. The friendly group, always welcoming new members who’d like to get involved in acting, backstage work, or front-of-house duties.
