FIREFIGHTERS were called out to help rescue a dog trapped in fence railings at Orford, Warrington.
At 19:21 yesterday (Monday) one crew attended reports of a dog trapped in railings on Howson Road.
Firefighters used spreading tools to release the dog that had become stuck between railings. The dog is not thought to have been injured and was safely returned.
In another incident at 19:34 one crew from Lymm attended reports of a fire on Buttermarket Street, Warrington.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire inside an industrial bin. It is believed to have been accidental, potentially ignited by a discarded e-cigarette.
