Two fire crews called to house fire at Sankey Bridges

TWO fire crews were called out to reports of a house fire at Sankey Bridges, Warrington, earlier today, Monday.

At 12:31 crews from Penketh and Warrington, attended reports of a fire at premises on Huntley Street.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
There were no reports of any casualties and no details of the cause given.

In another incident last night at 19:15 one crew from Warrington was caled out to reports of a fire in the open on Blackbrook Avenue.
Firefighters used a water backpack to extinguish a fire in the open in Warrington. This is believed to have been lit deliberately.
