Two fire crews tackle blaze in disused building

TWO fire crews were called out following reports of smoke coming from a disused building in Warrington.

At 16:07 crews from Warrington attended at the premises on Longshaw Street.

Smoke seen coming from the disused premises and firefighters needed to put a fire out and check the building.
In another incident at 16:31 one crew attended reports of a fire in the open at Culcheth.
Crews used two water backpacks to put out a small fire on Newchurch Lane believed to have been started deliberately by a group of children. Anyone with information should call Cheshire Police on 101.
