Warrington & Vale Royal College has launched two new Skills Bootcamps designed to support residents of Cheshire and Warrington into employment.
These funded, flexible courses provide sector-specific training, the opportunity to gain practical skills, and the chance to secure a job interview with an employer upon completion.
Laboratory Skills for Laboratory Technicians
Starting Wednesday 7th May, this 8-week course, delivered at the college’s Winsford campus, offers hands-on training for individuals looking to enter the science sector as Laboratory Technicians or Assistants. Whether participants are professionals aiming to enhance their skills or recent science graduates seeking practical experience, this bootcamp will equip them with the expertise needed to advance in the field. Get into Construction
Starting Friday 25th April, this 12-week course, delivered at the college’s Warrington campus, provides essential training in construction skills for those looking to start a career in the construction industry, including those seeking a career change or who are currently unemployed. Upon completion, students will also receive a CSCS card, enabling them to work on construction sites.
