CLAIRE House children’s hospice has received a donation of £2,000 from the Amazon fulfilment centre in Warrington.
The Wirral hospice provides specialist nursing and end of life care to seriously and terminally ill children and their families and the donation will go towards providing end of life care and support to local babies, children and young adults and their families.
Christian Stewart, site leader at Amazon in Warrington, said: “The support offered by Claire House to sick children in our community is incredible, and the Amazon Warrington team is proud to support the hospice’s efforts with this donation. We hope this makes a real difference to young lives impacted by hard times.”
Dan Halliday from Claire House added: “On behalf of the wider Claire House team, our children and their families, I’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Amazon for this donation. Support like this means we can keep providing the standard of care that we do to young people when they need it most.”
