CULCHETH-based yarn shop Black Sheep Wools has picked up three awards in the CraftWorld Yarn Industry awards.
Director Sara Geraghty said: “We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve won in three categories! We’re so grateful to everyone who took the time to vote for us.”
The awards were for best shop in the North of England, best workshops and classes and runner-up in the best online shop category.
Black Sheep Wools, in Glazier’s Lane, Culcheth, won praise for its knowledgeable staff, extensive product range, and a charming tea shop serving homemade cakes.
The Black Sheep Craft Barn is believes to be the largest dedicated knitting and stitching shop in the UK. However, it is still l very much a village store with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, knowledge staff.
