LATCHFORD Albion Giants’ were unable to continue their fantastic start to the season on Saturday – because their opponents could not raise a team.
Albion were due to host Cadishead Rhinos, but the visitors were unable to raise a team because of injuries and non-availability.
Latchford, sportingly agreed not to claim the points and the game will now be rearranged later in the season.
Unbeaten Albion now travel to Salford City Roosters A this Saturday in the first round of the NWML Shield competition, hoping the blank week will not result in a loss of momentum.
