Charity really does begin at home, with housebuilder Bellway donating an assortment of Easter eggs to the Ukrainian Family Hub Warrington, who meet twice a week at The Daten.
With its regional office in Birchwood, the aunt of a Bellway team member, who volunteers for the Ukrainian Family Hub, requested some support from her colleagues for the Easter party, taking place on Sunday 6th April.
Bellway Manchester staff donated Easter eggs of all sizes, so that the smaller, individually wrapped eggs can be used for the children’s Easter egg hunt and the bigger Easter eggs will be given to the children at the end of the party.
Leanne Borshik, Events & Information Coordinator at the Ukrainian Family Hub Warrington, says: “We are so grateful to Bellway for their generous donation of Easter eggs. They have shown community spirit and with all these Easter eggs, the children will have a super time at the party.
“There will be lots of crafting at the event and refreshments will also be served, so it promises to be a lovely afternoon for the Ukrainian community in Warrington.”
