A 50-year-old woman was arrested at Culcheth, Warrington, today after police were called to reports of an altercation between two students at Culcheth High School.
Emergency services attended reports of the altercation at 12.45 pm today, Wednesday, after the caller alleged that one of the youngsters had suffered serious injuries during the incident.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson commented: “Multiple police and paramedics attended the scene, and the reports were found to be malicious.
“While there had been an altercation, there were no serious injuries and the incident had already been resolved.”
Police confirmed a 50-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications and wasting police time and had been taken into custody. A 15-year-old male was also issued with a community resolution order.
