A two week road closure will come into force on Park Lane, Appleton, Warrington, from April 14, to allow Scottish Power to carry out pole replacement works.
The closure will be on Park Lane from its junction with Houghs Lane to its junction with Firs Lane with an alternative route signed on site.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Park Lane from its junction with Houghs Lane to its junction with Firs Lane.
The Order will be effective from 14th April 2025. The closure is for a period of 2 weeks, however, will be in place as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. An alternative route will be signed on site. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out pole replacement work.
