LATCHFORD Albion Giants made it three wins from three games with a comprehensive 42-16 victory over a very physical Leigh East A squad.
There was a fair spread of scorers in the Latchford squad with Harrison Turner registering two tries and one each for Josh Barnard, River Cole, Will Maguire, Ryan Edwards and Riley Cole, while Maguire landed all conversions.
Afterwards, coach Sean Bond said: “ Our focus in training, and our game plan was to improve our set completion rate and maximise the use of our athleticism around the ruck, catching our opposition off guard.
“I’m really proud of the lads this week, we had a few key players away and some playing out of positions, but they all just adapted and accepted the challenge presented to them.
“We still have plenty more to focus on but the squad is gelling nicely and are looking sharper each week. “
This Saturday (March 29) sees another away fixture when Latchford travel to face Clock Face Miners A, kick off 2.30pm
