WARRINGTON-based youth musical theatre group CODYS Productions is celebrating triple success in the district awards of NODA – the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.
CODYS picked up Best Youth Musical for their September 2024 production of The Wind In the Willows, as well as Best Lead Male in a Musical for Harvey Farrell as Mr Toad, and Best Supporting Male in a Musical for Dan Littlemore as Ratty.
A CODYS spokesperson said: ” We are so proud of all of our members for their wonderful performances in this show and are now looking forward to going along to the regional finals in May”.
CODYS Productions is a musical theatre group for 10-18 year olds, based in central Warrington – and they rehearse on Saturday mornings at St John’s United Reformed Church.
Their next performance will be in September at The Brindley in Runcorn with “The Spongebob Musical”.
This Tony-award winning musical tells the story of cartoon favourite Spongebob Squarepants and his friends on a mission to save their town Bikini Bottom from an erupting volcano.
