Warrington-based football team, Whittle Hall JFC Warriors, has secured a brand new kit, after scoring a sponsorship from Linden Homes, part of the Vistry Group.
The under 12s team trains and plays at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub and is part of the Warrington Junior Football League. The team of 11 boys compete in the Under 12 Division 1 and will be going into the second half of the football season with a new match day kit.
Linden Homes is set to build new homes at Radley Woods, the first phase of Peel Hall Garden Village in Warrington. The collection of three, four and five bedroom homes will be the first for Linden Homes in the town and will feature its signature design and specification.
The homes will be situated alongside multiple play areas, allotments and a new footpath network, with the first phase also set to include brand new sports pitches with changing facilities. Peel Hall Garden Village will also include a new primary school, a residential care home, and leisure, retail and hospitality facilities.
The sponsorship of Whittle Hall JFC Warriors forms part of Linden’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the local community, both now and in the future, as it looks to release the first homes at Radley Woods later this year.
Richard Mather, Whittle Hall JFC Warriors team manager, commented: “Support from companies such as Linden Homes is a vital element in the running of Whittle Hall JFC. Our U12’s Warriors team has a fantastic new strip, which they will wear with pride over the next two seasons. The support received means a huge amount to the layers, parents and all club volunteers. We have over 400 players signed to the Club and the support we receive from companies working within our community, such as Linden Homes, means we can continue to offer training and football games to all.”
Gemma Hardy, Managing Director, Vistry Merseyside and Cheshire West, said: “Grassroots clubs, like Whittle Hall JFC Warriors, play a vital role in bringing local communities together and preparing younger generations with skills for life. We’re proud to support local families by providing sponsorship for the new kit, and we wish the team the best of luck for the rest of the season. With our first development in the area coming in 2025, we’re looking forward to continuing our support by working closely with the local Warrington community.”
