POLICE today appealed for witnesses after a fail-to-stop incident involving a car and a pedal cyclist at Warrington.
The incident was on Wash Lane, Latchford, near the Cantilever Chippy fish and chip shop on Friday, February 28, at 3.42pm.
Police were called to the scene and found there had been a collision between a car and a pedal cyclist.
It’s understood the cyclist, a man, was taken to hospital where it was found he had suffered two broken vertebrae a broken finger and multiple contusions.
The driver of the car, a red Golf GTD, failed to stop at the scene and enquiries to identify the driver are ongoing.
