WIND and showers failed to deter more than 100 vehicles from turning out for the annual Stretton YFC Tractor Run in aid of charity.
The event, which set off from the Antrobus arms, following a route through the roads of south Warrington, has already raised over £2,500 for the Make-A-Wish charity, which supports children with critical illnesses.
Critical illness brings a child’s joy to an abrupt end but Make-A-Wish grants life-changing wishes that have the power to turn tears into cheers, rescuing the magic of childhood even in their toughest times and providing a lifeline for families to spend precious time together.
When it comes to their dreams, they deserve to wish for more than a life defined by their illness.
A total of 110 tractors of all shapes sizes and ages attended the event organised annually by Stretton Young Farmers.
Donations can still be made via Justgiving.
