AN-84-year-old man has been seriously injured following an XL bully dog attack at Warrington.
At approximately 6.40pm this evening police were called to a report of a dog attack at an address on Bardsley Avenue, Dallam, Warrington.
Local officers, along with support from the firearms unit, responded to the scene where they discovered an 84-year-old man had suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Aintree Hospital for treatment.
Two dogs, believed to be XL bullies, were destroyed by officers at the scene and a third small dog was also seized.
Investigations to determine the full details of the incident are ongoing, and officers are still present at the scene.
