St Rocco’s Christmas tree collection postponed due to weather conditions

As a result of the current weather conditions and to ensure the safety of their volunteers and staff, St Rocco’s has made the decision to postpone their 2025 Christmas tree collection to Saturday 18th January.

St. Rocco’s Tree collection this year celebrates 12 years of collecting and recycling of real Christmas trees across the local community in return for a donation to help continue to fund Palliative care provided by the hospice. Relying heavily on donations each year to fund the tailored services offered to patients, families and the 2025 Tree Collection will be the biggest event of the year so far!
Bookings for the 2025 Tree Collection have now been re-opened for those still wanting to make a last-minute booking for their tree to be collected and recycled this year. This initiative covers Warrington postcodes (WA1 to WA5 and WA13) and is a convenient and environmentally friendly way of disposing of your Christmas Tree after the festive period.  Booking is easy and can be done online at Tree Collection 2025 | St Roccos Hospice or by calling our Supporter Care team on 01925 579211.

All you need to do is book a collection, pledge a donation, and then leave your tree in an accessible location on Saturday 18th January.  St Rocco’s will take care of the rest! Bookings will now close at midnight on Wednesday 15th January.

Volunteers still required

Can you or your business spare some time, a vehicle or even a chipper to help make this event a success?  Please contact the Fundraising Team for more details by emailing [email protected] or calling 01925 575780.

Last year, the team of volunteers collected 2,600 trees from across Warrington raising an incredible £40,000 with every penny raised going to the hospice to help continue to pay for the services and care delivered.
