UPDATED: All lanes of the M56 eastbound near Warrington are now open following an earlier collision involving an HGV and a car.
Two lanes (of 3) were closed on the M56 eastbound within J11 #Warrington due to the collision earlier this morning.
Thankfully there were no injuries during this collision and specialist recovery worked to clear the HGV.
There were delays of at least 90 mins on approach with traffic remaining heavy in the area.
