FIREFIGHTERS were called out earlier today (Friday) following reports of a vehicle well alight on Holcroft Lane near Culcheth, Warrington.
At 11:56 one crew from Birchwood attended reports of a vehicle on fire on Holcroft Lane.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish a car that was well alight. They then used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and dampened down the engine bay.
Police closed the road while crews dealt with the incident.
There was no report of any injuries.
