A 14-year-old Warrington boy accused of a serious stabbing incident appeared before Liverpool Youth Court today, Tuesday.
The youth, who cannot be identified because of his age, denied a charge of unlawfully and maliciously wounding 37-year-old Peter Gabriel with intent.
The incident took place in the Breckfield Road North area of Everton on December 1.
Merseyside police said after the incident that the victim had been stabbed in the back and face and it was believed that three teenagers had been involved.
The defendant was remanded in the care of the local authority to await his trial beginning on January 30.
