ROAD closures will be in place at Grappenhall this Saturday (December 7) for St Wilfrid’s Church Christmas Fair parade.
The road closures will be in place between 11.30 am and 6 pm to allow safe passage of the parade.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice that, on the occasion of the above-mentioned event, no cart, carriage, motor car, lorry or any other vehicle (excepting vehicles taking part in the event, Police, Ambulance, Fire Service vehicles and Mail Carts) and no horses or other
animal be allowed to remain in or travel along or over the under-mentioned streets between the hours of 11:30 am and 6:00 pm on Saturday 7th December 2024:
Church Lane – Broad Lane to Bellhouse Lane
Bellhouse Lane – Church Lane to Glebe Avenue
The restrictions will only be in place to allow for the safe passage of the parade with access under the control of the event organiser for the duration of the event.
Bicycles and Tricycles are included in the term “vehicle” and must not be ridden through any of the named streets during the hours specified. Any person wilfully acting in contravention of the above Order will be liable to a penalty not exceeding £400.
