HOOD Lane North at Great Sankey, Warrington, was closed this afternoon (Wednesday) following a serious road traffic collision.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance, attended at the scene following the collision which involved a car colliding with a fence.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At 2.15pm on Wednesday 20 November police were called to a collision on Hood Lane North, Great Sankey.
“Officers attended and found a car had collided with a fence.
“The driver of the car was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
“The road was closed while officers dealt with the incident.”
