Following the closure of the Teaching Pool at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub for essential works last month, it is set to reopen.
The swimming pool will open to the public and schools again from this Wednesday, 20 November with Learn to Swim lessons due to resume from Monday 25 November.
The pool has remained closed to allow essential repair work related to the moveable floor. This has now been completed successfully.
Cabinet member for communities, culture and leisure, Cllr Tony Higgins, said: “I’m pleased that the repair works at the Orford Jubilee teaching pool have been completed and I’m grateful to our LiveWire members and pool users for their patience.
“We look forward to welcoming you back to the teaching pool shortly.”
The Aquatics Team will be in touch with all schools and Learn to Swim members impacted shortly regarding moving back to Orford. Please keep an eye on your emails for further information.
