TRAFFIC was brought to a standstill on Folly Lane, Warrington, on Wednesday afternoon, as police swooped on a drugs suspect.
The suspect was detained at the roadside and was involved in a brief struggle before being placed in the back of a polcie van.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 2.34pm today, Wednesday 13 November, officers conducted a stop search on Folly Lane, Warrington.
“A man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and resisting arrest.
“He remains in police custody at this time.”
