HEALTHWATCH Warrington has announced a collaborative initiative with the Bridgewater Oral Health Improvement Team and Warrington Public Health Team to spread essential tips and information on maintaining good oral health.
Children need to form good oral health habits from an early age to prevent tooth decay – but good oral health is essential for the entire family.
Healthwatch have created two informative pages designed to help families understand oral health better.
Nationally, Healthwatch has identified that children are facing challenges in accessing dental care and that there is a need for more information on good oral health for children under 10.
Feedback from the Warrington community will inform a comprehensive report, which will be shared with Warrington Place Providers and the NHS. The recommendations from this report will shape an improvement plan, enabling providers to work collaboratively with accurate public feedback.
Healthwatch is inviting the community to have their say by participating in a survey: https://engagingcommunities.welcomesyourfeedback.net/s/s8ynfc
Tooth cleaning charts, toothpaste, brushes and information sheets will be distributed with tips for brushing teeth.
Informative videos have been produced that can be seen at:
