1330 (Warrington) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, is honoured to announce their annual Festival of Remembrance, a touching tribute to the service and sacrifices of our armed forces.
The event will be held at St Elphins Parish Church on Saturday, 9th November 2023, beginning at 7 pm, arrival from 6:30pm.
This year’s festival promises to be a poignant evening filled with musical performances by Warrington Male Voice Choir and Warrington Brass Band, moving readings, and a moment of silence during the wreath-laying ceremony.
A reflection of the past, the event aims to bring the community together in remembrance and appreciation of those who have dedicated their lives to our nation.
Commanding Officer of 1330 Squadron, Flt Lt Alan Radcliffe RAFAC, said, “It is imperative for us, as a community and as a nation, to come together and remember the sacrifices made by so many. This festival is not just a tribute but also a reminder of the value of peace and the hope for a better future.”
The public, especially parents, friends, veterans, and all Warrington residents, are invited to attend. The event will be a testament to the collective respect and gratitude of the Warrington community.
