A residential road at Penketh is set to close later this month to allow Scottish Power to carry out a network upgrade.
The closure on Heath Road, Penketh, will come into force from 5pm on October 25th until November 3rd from its junction with Burnham Close to Warrington Road.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Heath Road from its junction with Burnham Close to its junction with Warrington Road.
The Order will be effective from 5pm on 25th October 2024 to 3rd November 2024, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Greystone Road, Warrington Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out network upgrade work.
