POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was set on fire on Greenwood Crescent, Orford, during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).
At 02:29 one crew from Warrington attended reports of a car on fire on Greenwood Crescent.
A vehicle fire was put out by firefighters in breathing apparatus using a hose reel jet.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 2.48 am this morning a car was set on fire in Greenwood Crescent in Warrington. The fire is being treated as deliberate. Enquiries are continuing. Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting IML 1935185.
“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
