Alleged shoplifters caught with £300 worth of painkillers from Poundland

TWO alleged shoplifters have been arrested after being caught with £300 worth of painkillers stolen from a Poundland store.

Whilst on patrol in the town centre, Inspector Hillyard & PC Culleton have arrested two people for shoplifting following reports of attempts to steal from Poundland.

The pair were later found in the bus station trying to make a hasty exit with over £300 worth of stolen Nurofen products.
They wer taken into custody and will appear in court at a later date.
