A Warrington chip shop is now attracting customers from all over the North West after a Tik Tok post went viral with more than three million viewings!

Osman Gulam, known locally as Ozzy, has been running the Greenwood Fryery on Marsh House Lane for more than 20 years and is now a daily Tik Tokker after his post on how to cook fish and chips went viral, attracting millions of viewers from around the world.

With each video starting with the words “Hello I am Osman Gulam,” his posts are proving so popular they are now bringing in customers from far and wide including Salford, Liverpool and Nantwich, as well as his loyal regular customers.

It has provided a major boost for Osman, who is a published author, with his book Climbing Mountains telling the story of how he arrived in Warrington from his native Turkey.

Warrington Worldwide popped along to find out more with a Tik Tox feature reaching over 30,000 views in less than 24 hours! See below.

When asked if he had done anything special to achieve so many viewings on Tik Tok Ozzy said: “No nothing is edited, we just upload a video or do live broadcasts which are good at getting new followers.”

  1. It is a really good chippy, eith genorous servings. When my husband passed away i asked Ozzie if he had thought of doing a smaller serving of hhis fish &, chips often called pensioners meal. He said it wasnt worth it. It means a pensioner who wants fish chips & peas has to pay nearly £10 then throw half away because they only eat small meals. Other chippies do pensioner meals, but not as nice as Ozzies x
