A three-day road closure is set to take place at Daresbury to allow Openreach to carry out customer connection works.
Hobb Lane at Daresbury will be closed from its junction with Chester Road from September 24, from 9.30 am to 5 pm while the works are carried out.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Hobb Lane from its junction with Chester Road to the Borough Boundary with Halton.
The Order will be effective from 24th September 2024 for 3 days, between 9:30 am and 5 pm, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Chester Road, Runcorn Road and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow Openreach to carry out customer connection works.
