FOLLOWING on from their 3 – 1 win over Cheadle Town last Saturday Warrington Rylands continued their success with a 2 -1 win against Burnley last night.

Burnley, playing their under 21 team, opened the scoring with an early penalty but The Blues quickly bounced back with goals from Ntumba Massanka finishing off a Dylan Dwyer cross and Jake Burton scoring the second.

Changes were made in the second half but neither side could increase the score.

Warrington Rylands did have the ball in the net, disallowed after a dubious offside decision, and Burnley hit the underside of the bar, bouncing back into play and cleared away.

Warrington Rylands will be hosts to Oldham Athletic next Tuesday 16th July when they hope to add another victory to their pre-season friendlies.
