WARRINGTON & Vale Royal College has announced its inclusion among England’s top ten further education colleges for apprenticeship achievement.

Newly released national data has revealed the college’s exceptional performance, affirming its commitment to delivering high-quality technical education and training.
The Qualification Achievement Rates (QARs) data is released annually, offering insight into the performance of further education colleges and training organisations nationwide. These metrics are calculated by comparing the number of apprentices who successfully achieve their qualifications against the total number of apprentices who enrolled on the programme, providing a benchmark for an apprenticeship training provider’s performance.

Warrington & Vale Royal College has demonstrated remarkable success, surpassing the national average by an outstanding 13.7%. It now has the highest QAR rating for FE colleges in the Cheshire region and has surpassed the Government Skills Minister’s ambitious achievement rate target for 2025, demonstrating a significant upward trend for the success of its apprentices. The college’s rating of 68.3% is testament to the organisation’s unwavering commitment to supporting students in their qualifications and, ultimately, their careers.
Director for Quality & Apprenticeship Delivery, Andrew Atkin, commented: “We are thrilled to be recognised among the top performers in England for our apprenticeship achievement rates. Our score reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, staff and industry partners who contribute to our vibrant learning community. At Warrington & Vale Royal College, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide accessible, high-quality education that prepares students for success in their chosen fields.”
